West Texas Paranormal

Formerly known as "Shadow Hunters of Texas", the "West Texas Paranormal Investigations Society" or W.T.P.I.S. is a Paranormal Research group serving the areas of West Texas and the surrounding region. WTPIS is located in Lubbock, TX and originated in the smaller city of Plainview, about 50 miles north of Lubbock, under its former name. The Founder of WTPIS, Robby D. Duncan, became a Paranormal Researcher in 1998 at the age of 21 and is certified in the field of Parapsychology. Duncan excels in the study of Ufology, as well, and is an advocate for the "Ancient Astronaut" theory and the research of such scholars as Zecharia Sitchin and Jason Martel. Duncan attributes his passion and path, into the Paranormal world, to certain events which took place at different periods in his childhood. The main goal of WTPIS is clear.... to help lead the study of the Paranormal into the mainstream of Scientific thought.

“We are dedicated to the study, research, and documentation of the unexplained "anomalies" that occur in our world. It is our main goal to shed as much light upon the unknown world as possible and promote a better understanding of the Paranormal, the Supernatural, and the Mysterious pieces of our reality! WTPIS is asking all interested parties to join the fight to push the Paranormal into the Mainstream of Scientific study! This is the future that we envision. We wish to create "Awareness" among the masses! The more people that become "Aware" of the Unexplainable Phenomena that is a part of our reality, the more such things will be recognized by Mainstream Science and other Scholars! We exist for the simple purpose of studying and researching these Phenomena and then bringing that knowledge, that "Awareness", to you... the public.”
